Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

When the window shuts I suspect Everton will have spent £150m +/- 10% and added £40/45m to our amortisation in doing so. The fact that if it plays out like that it will be mainly spent on potential and mid-level PL veterans is sobering.
For the money being spent, I expect the so-called elite players to be honest. Higher calibre.

Soton want £40m up front right, according to some media reports.

If the other costs £30m then that’s about it. £120m gone.
No, there won't be a £40m 'up front' cost; the fixed part of any deal will be paid in installments (as 90% of transfers are).

The negotiation is over the breakdown of the fee : fixed +/- add-ons

This is where Nick Hammond proves his worth.

Slow day..... private jet just coming into Liverpool from London.

Soon to be followed by one coming in from Sion, which has also been in the likes of Lyon and Rome in recent days..

Clutching at straws here.

Spot on mate.

Line Ineos isn't it?

Them bloos aren't taking the piss out of us for Branthwaite. We'll sign Yoro and de Ligt instead.

Would help if there weren't shed loads of journalists seemingly reporting every conversation in the negotiation at different times with contradicting messages.

Deal is done as far as I'm concerned. Don't care what the cost is, the kid is a star in the making.

We should introduce a ranking system that judges these scoundrels.

They get us riled up.

I feel like we'd all benefit if everybody stayed calm.
it could help if we see Dibling, Deswbury Hall and a right back in the Titanic. Remember the good old days Carlo was pictured with James, Doucoure and Allan :).
Really curious whether those deals Moyes was talking about includes advancing on a right back this week. With Patterson injured and Coleman nowhere to be seen near a football pitch anymore getting a right back done soon is more and more crucial.
