Match Thread Everton 2-0 Fulham. Sat 8th November. 3pm.

What a difference having 2 full backs overlapping means. First half both Garner and Myko did it a few times, 2nd half not at all really - JOB did itright at the end. Doesn't half change the momentum of the match.

Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

8/1/25 Everton 2 Fulham 0 Deserved win. 3 disallowed for offside - 2 certain but the last one for Barry when KDH scored was harsh. Can't see how the lino saw contact from where he was. Would have been interesting if goal was given - but VAR would almost certainly disallowed it - cos it's us...

Fulham have a strong physical defence with a couple of grocks in midfield - Lukic and Berge. Dominate the middle of midfield with height and energy and we win. I can't see Gana and Garner doing this. Maybe time for Rohl, Tim and KDH in front to be tried.

Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

3/11/25 Sunderland 1 Everton 1 I think we finally got the rub of the green on one. Ball hit Keane's hand which whilst at waist level was a bit away from his body. Would have been a tad harsh but as they say - 'I've seen them given'. Otherwise a decent ref performance. Not afraid to let robust...

Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

26/10/25 EFC 0 Spurs 3 Eughh. Sickening. We played quite well and their goalie was inspired. That said - losing like that at home is unforgivable. Yes that ref and VAR were abysmal. We bottled it though when their 2nd went in. VAR is a fair measure of unconscious bias. In hindsight I'm not...

Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

Man City 2 Everton 0 Echo article... Handling Everton penalties Everton started the season by giving away penalties for handballs in each of their first two games. The decision to award what proved to be a late match-winning spot-kick for Leeds United was particularly controversial with...

Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

18/10/24 Man City 2 Everton 0 Promising first half with Ndaiye excellent. Chances not taken so inevitable Haaland double sees us lose. He could have had 5 at the end. Nothing much from a ref / VAR perspective. Match Officials Referee:Tony Harrington Video Assistant Referee:Nicholas Hopton...

    Tin foil or cling film

Cling film is better as a lining for your mattress. Tin foil is too noisy.

    2025/26 Jordan Pickford

What nonsense. Pickford is the best around by a distance. Never let us or England down. Every day I'm thankful we have him in goal. One of the greatest signings we've ever made - in any era.

    Anyone read Duncs book yet?

Just finished reading it. He was a bit of a lad to put it mildly. It's clear he loves us though and he did do a fine job battling for us when others went missing. I'd love to see him back training our strikers. Barry would definitely learn things. Evertonian to his core.
