Some Spurs fans are saying that this penalty wasn't given because the PL want to relegate them.. They need it explained that this is not against Spurs just par for the course for Everton.

I can't blame them for feeling that way. There is some degree of sports rigging in every sport (sports betting is likely a culprit here). When you see some decisions like that you can't help but be disillusioned even if you are a neutral or in Spurs case dependent on us to win.

I was at the game and the handball was right in front of us.
There is no suitable explanation as to why no penalty was awarded unless Mr Michael Salisbury is either incompetent or a cheat. Probably both.
Criminal.

has there ever been an explanation as to why former footballers are not allowed to assist with VAR decisions?

i'd bet at least a pound that if you had a former footballer making decisions then there would be less mistakes made by VAR.

Haha, a grappling motion is the excuse sorry to reason for not giving it.

I mean how can anyone seriously utter those words and keep a straight face especially when it is Barry that is being grappled with by the defender.

WWE PL, keeps the interest until the final day. Expect more decisions like this so West Ham/Spurs and City/Arsenal stay neck and neck. It's for the greater good they say to themselves during clandestine meetings.

It's just a bonus it's against us, as they obviously hate Everton.

The PL have defended the call by calling it an accidental hand ball, I'd imagine most handballs are accidental not many players go out to deliberately handle the ball.

Like how we got pinged for accidental handballs earlier in this season though.
