I was not expecting that kind of game 1 from the Avs & Wild

I'm not a fan of the playoff seeding, but I'm only pinning this on the Stars--they way they played, how they were set up, and defensemen 4, 5, & 6. Actually Nils Lundkvist was quite good before he took a skate to the face. I hope he plays well...

Wild were very good but also the Stars looked very soft most of the series. I saw that Mikko Rantanen has been renamed Meeko Rantanen and now I can't unsee it. Forza Canes for the rest of the playoffs.

Shoes play a part but I think their value is probably overstated. There are some new ideas is nutrition that make a big difference too. But running 26 miles in under 2 hours is very fast by any measure.

Good free agency and good draft by the Saints. Still some ways away from being a good team I think, but let's be competitive next year and see where that gets us.
