NFL 2026 Season

@Moomin - Vikings
@Wizard - Titans
@SLAVEN BILIC - Bills
@Kev The Rat - Chiefs
@Toffe3m4n - Eagles
@mezzrow - Jags
@ToffeeTim - Packers

Might have missed a few. Anyway, how you all feel coming out of the draft?
Hard to say for the Packers without a first round pick to be honest. They definitely needed defensive backs and defensive line and they got a corner and a DT with their first 2 picks and then a pass rusher in round 4. Just depends if they are good picks or not but most stuff I have read on them is positive.

It's as much about injuries for Green Bay because the roster is good when players are fit. Need Kraft and Parsons back fit and to keep Christian Watson on the field.

As usual, pretty good. Howie does have a really good knack of acting quickly and playing the board very well to take some good players who've otherwise fallen slightly down the order. Never would've thought that we'd be able to move up to pick Makai Lemon, though it certainly spells the end of AJ Brown's time here.

Feeling is it was decent but no weapons for Mahomes until late in the draft.

I know opinion of the overall talent in the draft was fairly low, but Delane was considered a great prospect and made so much sense after your offseason moves. The DT you drafted at the end of the first is only 6 months removed from being projected as a top 5 pick. Would have loved to see you take Cooper but I'd be pretty excited to see those lads in a Spags system

49ers apparently in deep with AI to prepare their draft strategy. Actual/alleged quotes from General Manager John Lynch:

"If you aren’t using it, you’re already behind… we’re fortunate to be where we are, kind of the epicenter of the innovation there… every team is probably using it in some form or fashion."
“The cool thing is, what we found, you don’t need to be an expert.”

We'll see if it finds the next Montana, Rice, Craig, Lott...(the last NFL era I watched).

I'm woefully ineligible to discuss AI use or game theory in any substantial way, but even I know they wasted their picks over drafting players that most teams weren't very interested in drafting. Their draft reeks of new guy playing fantasy football type of draft.
