    2025/26 David Moyes

One point better than a Dyche full season (adjusting for the points we got taken off us). Worse points per game from last season after he took over. failure to get one of NINE European places (might never happen again), £100m+ spent on players, with about half of that barely seeing the...

Im in California at the moment… and I am from Southport, which is often called the California of the UK (ok so that’s a lie). 🤣 But you’re correct inexcusable really!

But yet we’ve put the same team out every week, with Rohl for McNeil and Tim for Gana, and a defense that ships goals for fun.

It was there for the taking, would have been right in the mix if we’d have won. Questions need to be asked of the manager and his lack of … management.

He will play all the fringe/younger players on the weekend, we will batter them, then be in a real fight for Europe… and Moyes will revert to type and play the teams of the last few weeks for spurs away.

    Summer transfer window.

The mad thing is some of his best signings (Cahill, pienaar, arteta, Fellaini) had no pl experience before joining us. It frustrates me that he has gone more pl experience dependent as he’s gotten older.

Or the bonus structure weights goals disproportionately in favour of assists.

    Summer transfer window.

I don’t like how we’ve had a season of ignoring the promising youth we bought in during the last year, and how most of the early transfer links are to players over 30. Doesn’t fill me with enthusiasm for the 2026/27 off season. Thank god there’s a World Cup to distract me.

    2025/26 Beto

I love Beto. But from a practical perspective We should start him last 2 games, hope he gets a few goals, and sell him to the highest bidder in the summer. He only puts his boots on in Feb. And we need a better technical football player up front. But I love him and I’ll miss him.
