WIth Harrison gone we are definitely short a boo boy. Beto has a weight on his shoulders as he misses a few ! We've had worse 3/4 choice centre backs than Keane imo.

Beginning to feel like we are one of the few clubs who don't roll over for them. Do whatever boils their piss please.

Year on year an almost unimaginably improved situation for the club. Shame we are still struggling for a finisher - but I'm not sat here contemplating relegation or administration.

I remember watching Harry Kane in an England youth game too - he was absolutely rubbish - I still can't shake that first impression of him. Turns out my first impression was a bit meaningless.

In that sense a DoF or similar makes sense - looking after the long-term squad age / value - whereas managers want the short-term solutions to keep their job (which is fair enough). Hopefully one balances out the other.

It seems Moyes opinion is that OBrien is ok at RB. I remember him doing the same with Jags and Lescott - in fact Lescott was decent at LB.
