2 years is very odd. Generally his career so far has been odd.

Are we still on for that Tom Fellows...fellow ?

I think Moyes gets this and he's a decent judge of player character. Whether we can transfer those types is more up to the Friedkins I guess.

We would have to pay him 10 mil a year on top of any transfer - need to shop smarter than this.

We only just stopped paying Dele Alli a fortune for a handful of appearances. There always seems to be room for one hopeless redemption !

Good news - one of our best players - as others have said, gives breathing room for a replacement.

Transfer fees seem to make the headlines. Pay a player 100k a week, that's 5 million + a year. Ie. Just wages for one good player covered by our naming rights Assume that is all factored into PSR. Expensive business.

    Transfer Rumour Liam Delap

Could be a big step backwards for the England squad that. It's not like the PL CL clubs are brimming with first team English players. The good ones are playing abroad even.

Leave Utd with their financial mistakes - don't bring them here. At the moment they maybe a bit financially hamstrung - gives us one less competitor in the market.

This sort of pragmatism is the only way we will attract the best. Accept that good players may leave - just ride the wave of their good form like Lukaku, Stones etc. then come out if it quids in. If we exceed expectations then they can stay.

    2024/25 David Moyes

I reckon what people underestimate - and maybe this is me getting on a bit myself - this is probably his last chance to compete at the top and he's not auditioning for a job elsewhere. I thought the same of Dyche but he bottled it for some reason.

Think we need to support him and be realistic while he builds a new squad - still I'm hopeful we can start troubling the top half and euro positions if he's backed.

This may be missing some context. As an understatement. I hope the Friedkins had a better reason to let him go.
