Armstrong got my vote, George close second , when they came on we actually looked like a football team that had woken up after 60 mins of slumber.

….really impressed with Armstrong. I watched him in a summer tournament for England and the weather was similar to today and he was the only one running as hard in last minute as the first.

That’s the gut punch isn’t it? Literally a single point better. At that rate of a point improvement per season, just think, in only 40 years or so we’ll see points like Arsenal.

The end of season form was unacceptable. But I’m sure the players and staff recognise that. That said, there are signs of improvement, but we need upgrades in a number of key positions.
