Summer transfer window.

Bernardo Silva total appearances for Man City and Portugal - 58
Iliman Ndiaye total appearances for Everton and Senegal - 48

He shouldn't be gassed, something is wrong. It's either him or it's the preparation. The fact KDH also looks gassed, as you point out, suggests it's the preparation as he's only made 32 appearances. A well trained professional athlete should be able to play 32 games over a mine month period without suffering from catastrophic fatigue.
Some people just have bigger tanks. Ndiaye has always faded away in games since the day we got him, he should have been managed better since January especially.

Selling sends no signal. All teams do it. Who we replace them with is the signal.
Yes if we sell to one of the clubs who are perceived to be more constantly successful or bigger it sends no signal, but for me it does if it’s only someone like Newcastle. It infers that one of our best players thought he had a better chance of achieving something there which does not say much for our progress.

Peps possession based football vs whatever you want to class Moyes attempts at football as.

Make the ball do the work

All players are replaceable no matter who they are or who they play for they also all have their price so lets not get into this Ndiaye is the player holding this team together and we'll fall apart without him. I'm not saying he isn't a good player (although he has been decidedly average since he came back from the AFCON) but our biggest problems are elsewhere in the side and if he is sold to help us fill those problem areas so be it. My biggest worry is who we let spend that money if it comes along cos i certainly wouldn't let the present manager spend it.

If Newcastle replaced Gordon with Ndaiye it would do little to change their trajectory. If his sale got us 2 attacking fullbacks and someone like George as a replacement it would do a lot for ours.
