Went ultra negative one goal up and vs 10 men....he knows we are getting all 10 pts. back and just needs draws to keep us up. That is the ONLY reasonable explanation for that.
Definitely MUCH stronger with Onana in the team. But I think without Gana's injury, Garner should have come off for Onana. Onana should have started regardless and it'll probably be Gana/Garner swapping back and forth based on form/opponent.
The longer the delay, the better for us I think. If we were getting nothing back, they would have wrapped that up quickly and made the announcement. The longer this delay is, the better the outcome. It does the PL no good to keep waiting to announce the appeal. I don't know the mechanics behind...
I think they are definitely afraid of opening up their books/minutes and will have to do so if the case goes to high court. I'm going 10 pts back, with the excuse of Covid as a reason to make an exception to the very vague and secretive punishment process. The PL will say that they are in favor...
Go for it. Everton have extra rest before the next fixture. City have a Champions League quarter final 3 days later. Kicking and fighting and getting a point will be icing on the cake. Put on Dobbin, Hunt, Patto, Chermiti if we go down 3-0.
I am hopeful (probably naively) that the PL washes its hands of the whole situation and put out some type of statement recognizing the one-time grace period that Covid will allow for, which has had a multi-year effect on many teams and make an exception for any PSR violations that have taken...
Another case of not appreciating what you have until it is gone. Really good in breaking up their play - really important interceptions on both ends of the pitch.
Patterson seems to get beat on a diagonal like that once per game. You have to take the good with the bad though. I’m banking on a Patterson assist to seal the game 2-0. Or he gets red carded and we lose.
