2025/26 David Moyes

We know the squad isn't great but his in game management/ subs are poor. He could of played O'brien centre half which means we can defend higher, meaning the midfield can push on with less ground to cover, he could of given George chances up top with his pace, Alcaraz should of had more chances, Aznou should have been given more minutes as a winger, Rohl should have played more since Villa. He's had some options but all too predictable. Today we ended up with that back 4 and Mcneil, laughable
He bought a £40 million attacker and refuses to play him even when we are chasing a game - madness

“There’ll be no excuses next season though.”

Yes there will. There always is. If the club put as much effort into being a top team that competes for trophies than they do spinning narratives with media allies we would be miles better off.
It's why people are happy with missing out on Europe this year because we can aim for....Europe.......next..season??

What really gets me is that we have blown two big opportunities for next year. We won't be getting Europe and we have not given our younger players more experience and game time. It would have almost been better to be 12th for the past 6 weeks, to then play George, Dibling, Harrison, Aznou a little more to set them up for better success next season, but instead none of them really played other than George, and that was really for the last minutes of games we were chasing.

Wasted opportunities all around.

That was the type of performance and result that often sees a manager sacked. Absolutely pathetic.

Putting a retiring player on purely for a clap, when you're 2-1 down and really need a result to keep the season alive, sums him and most of that group up to a tee. Losers and bottled jobs. That's the main reason I want him gone. It's not the style, it's not even really the results (we have seen worse), it's the culture he instills every time. No accountability, no grit, no serious ambition. As if it's just the taking part that counts. That's a football club no one should ever want Everton to be.

Get rid.

It’s never been good enough. The league is a marathon and we weren’t able to cope with losing key players at key moments in the season. But we’ve still made progress on last season which gives us something to build on.

You can be as negative as you like, but it’s still the early stages of a rebuilding process.
We haven’t though, we were 8th at half time today and we will start the final day 4 places further down

every crap manager we have, there's always one diehard acolyte on here. Like a family member or something. It's weird.

Needle has swung a bit for me today.

Been supportive of him whilst he could still meet the mid 50s target which I thought was acceptable.

Can’t get there now and our form in the last 6 is terrible despite the fact we actually had something to play for.

I don’t think Iraola is the answer but the owners do need to be exploring options even if they dont come off.

That assumes O’Brien is better at centre half than Tarkowski and Keane. Let’s not forget, it was his mistake that cost us the match. And then we shift Garner to right back and become weaker in the middle.

It’s like whack-a-mole at the moment.
He's played there a few times and looked solid , so why not? I know it was his mistake for the goal , I'm talking about the season in general, he has abit of pace, with Keane and Tarks we defend deeper, so midfield is deeper which gives them more ground to cover and leaves the forward isolated
