Summer transfer window.

TBH I wouldn’t blame Ndiaye for leaving
Played out of his skin at LW season before this and then gets shunted to RW
Barely scores and rarely assists. Sure, he's often exciting to watch but he's not a great footballer. I don't think he'd be a regular at any of the top teams. If selling him generates funds to build a better team then I'm all for it. The concern is not selling him but who we buy with the money.

So lets re-evalute our summer window prospects after todays final home game:

If you want to play in Europe ...dont go to Everton
If you are a young player who likes to play football...dont go to Everton
If you enjoy playing attacking and exciting football...dont go to Everton
If you have a lot of experience in the EPL, a few injuries, pace has never been your thing and are looking for one last big contract, call wee Davey.

Centre half has now also become a position of huge need

Our squad just doesn't ever seem to improve. We improve in one area and players then decline rapidly in another area. It's a never ending cycle of intense mediocrity.

Would like to think that’s the case because sends the wrong message selling our best players. Defo should have been rotated more and that’s on Moyes
I disagree. Everyone but Real Madrid sell their best players when the price is right. In our situation, attracting players relies on them knowing that they will be sold if a bigger team comes in for them.

We need a whole new back 4 this summer. Tarkowski is in serious decline. O'brien isn't a right back & his attacking wing play is awful. Myko is so limited. Keane has slipped back into his old ways & Branthwaite can't be relied upon. Add in Aznou nowhere to be seen, Coleman is leaving & Patterson isn't very good & we don't have a single player we can trust for a whole campaign next season who can push us on. Poor defence usually means relegation battle. Needs to be sorted as a priority before anything else including striker.
