Summer transfer window.

I’d be in for Wan Bissaka and Bowen if West Ham are goners. Would add a lot.
Bowen is a quality player, and knows Moyes n all, but he seems like the kind of guy that wouldn't be bothered by spend a year in the Championship with WH if needs be. If he was open to leaving, I think he might have one or two better options on the table than us.

As for Wan-Bissaka: I can't decide if that's a semi-reasonable-ish shout for a backup RB option or if you've perhaps banged your noggin on a particularly solid bag of blue donuts...

The problem is with us that Wan Bissaka would end up being our first choice for the next 5 years.

In 1-on-1's WanBissaka is often amazing a lot of the time I've seen him (at United at least), but then you also equally never notice him on the pitch because he goes missing and you wonder what he offers.

Would he be a bad option at RB or back up? Probably not. Would he be my first choice RB? Nope.

He's one of those players you look at and you wonder if he's half a DM and half a RW that somehow finds himself playing RB. That said, the more I think about it, he screams "typical Everton signing" (especially when Billy Ballwax Ben White rejects us to stay at Arsenal).

If we renew McNeil I’m not bothering with next season. He surely has to go out the door.

I’m more interested in who leaves than who comes in, I want a lot of these players gone.
The club don't want to do a proper squad overhaul. They dont have the boldness to do it. They keep getting opportunities to make big changes but keep backing the same players who haven't performed well.

I'm with you. As a back up then maybe, but I think we both know he'd end up being first choice, which is definitely not what we need. For some reason I'm already seeing him in a blue shirt at Anfield getting ripped apart.

If West Ham go down, he'd be one of the players you'd think will come on the market and some clubs will look at (if only because he was at United not long ago). I'm not saying he'd be top of our list or anything, but he'd probably be one we'd be looking at. AWB & JoB as the 2 right back options for the next 12 months: I could see this club thinking "box ticked for not big money" in that scenario.

The real telling thing to me, is that they constantly cite losing all those players last summer as a negative.

Think of Crystal Palace had similar, they viewed it totally differently. As an opportunity. It kind of sums it up to me.

It was just yet another thing they could use as an excuse for not showing as much progress as we should have.

The mentality across the club and the obsession with mediocrity has to change ASAP or nothing is ever going to get better.
