I agree that the defence needs overhauling but all we are doing is extending their contracts over and over again because in Everton Land people think they’re good players.

I can remember the uproar when Ben Godfrey wasn’t picked for England, as if he was some kind of master Centre Half, when he was actually utterly bloody dross!
