2025/26 David Moyes

This is just hyperbolic nonsense. Players go in and out of form and have done as long as the sport has existed. Saying Barry Dibling Aznou Rohl are worse now is very hard to prove. Some were playing in easier leagues and at most will have lost a bit of confidence. Rohl looks the best of them but they all still have a chance to mature and develop over the summer. Did any of them even have a preseason? That’s an important factor.
One more point than the last two seasons, same league position. What are we getting now that we didn't get before Moyes?

I’m seriously beginning to think Moyes might be on thin ice you know.
He was extremely animated on the touch line, more so than I can recall him being this season.
Wonder if he knows he’s under a bit of pressure from above after all, can’t imagine they will be impressed with 13th and capitulating so badly cups and when in a decent spot for Europe.

But we've only got the notorious programme notes to go on...

Still can’t believe he said Rohl would benefit from sitting on the bench watching the entire season.

Like we didn’t commit to fork out 20 mill on this kid who probably expected that when he signed a contract with us he’d be playing football. Then the manager comes out and says he prob should have played him more but a whole season on the bench watching games will have done him good.

I think Moyes has gone right off the deep end now. I used tor think he was just unlucky or didn’t have the right players but I think he’s completely lost it now, just talking absolute nonsense.

Even today, going on about how worried he was sending George and Armstrong into this intensity of game and whether they could cope with it. It was an end of season dead rubber for us with absolutely zero riding on it and we were already 1-0 down you complete and utter bulb.

What i mean about knee jerk is theres no point sacking him if theres no succession plan in place.

As i said i dont want to sack him then we spend 2-3 weeks twiddling our thumbs. Only to be looking at managers like victor Pereira or nuno.

Nah, id rather keep moyes then that.
Agree but if there is a manager out there available willing to come and drive us further then it should be looked into
What happens two or three months into the new season and results carry on in the same vain

he inher

he inherited a championship winning squad at united (albeit one that Fergie couldnt believe won) and was miserable
It's an entertainment business and having watched 25 games this season, I havent been entertained very much
The Man Utd senior players were never having him and his methods, theres plenty of stories how Moyes kept his Everton training methods and preparation which were rather basic in nature and the winners in the Man Utd squad laughed openly together about how these methods were embarrassing for a club and winning mentality of Man Utd
