2025/26 David Moyes

Dear me, especially after the 2.00 mark, he’s clearly being a surly arsehole here

He doesn't understand the fans frustration?

If he wasn't such a dick he'd just say 'yeah I totally get it, I share their frustration'.

Why's he going on about relegation before he came here 24 years ago?

I think we'll regret not going for Iraola, Glasner. I'm not sure he gets to the end of next season.

Good job it was men asking the questions, female journo might've got threatened with a slap.

I’m seriously beginning to think Moyes might be on thin ice you know.
He was extremely animated on the touch line, more so than I can recall him being this season.
Wonder if he knows he’s under a bit of pressure from above after all, can’t imagine they will be impressed with 13th and capitulating so badly cups and when in a decent spot for Europe.
Possibly, and that's perhaps why the CEO came out singing his praises.

Last season play off winners to secure promotion after being in League 1 in 2022 after defeating Wycombe Wanderers in the play off final to secure promotion to the Championship in 2022.

The last season they were in the PL prior was the 2016/17 season so they were 9 seasons out of the top flight. They therefore not have the foundations of a PL squad but have built one from the ground floor up and been managed competently by a novice PL manager.

This is what can be achieved with the right attitude and not this defeatist (or realistic as some of those posters would say) attitude. No need for a 3 year plan just to achieve Europe. Congratulations to Sunderland.
They spent more than 200M last summer.
