I think he could play there in a front-foot side that has control of games. He's pretty good at competing for long balls, but he hasn't really got the physicality to deal with the way we launch things at the striker's head or expect them to outrun everyone down a channel, as we do at the moment...

I think the lack of signings will just be Moyes wanting to sign players of a reasonable standard and those players being hard to get, considering what we have to offer. You could argue that we should be signing squad filler players in addition, but he'll still insist they're relatively decent...
