Same here mate. Couldn’t get a ticket / wouldn’t pay the price. It was a glorious afternoon and went to watch my mates lad play in a cup final. Life’s too short.

I try not to get too up and down with the emotions of football, anymore. Once nearly got me sacked because I was still in a mood on the Monday after the Clattenburg derby. It is unhealthy. Although, as I put in another response, maybe emotional...

Yeah I thought our best defensive headers from corners for the first hour were from Branth and Beto, they’re the only ones who don’t grapple, just outjump the opposition. Both going off thru injury was massive, especially when the subs were so...

Annoying thing here is we actually do have a bit of strength in depth in midfield. A bench full of them today whilst the starters were gasping for breath.

I’m still not ready to talk about Barry’s performance, it’s too soon. At the moment, I’m stuck in the shaking-my-head stage every time I hear his name.

Plus he's what 6"5 or 6"6. He probably marks the 2nd Liverpool goalscorer from the corner so it wouldn't have happened.

….exactly why this achievement should be celebrated, especially for those that suggest the game started with the advent of PL. We are founder members of football in this country.

…..I do think ‘Originals’ should also apply to us being a founder member of the game in this country, not just the original team in the city. I think it’s something we should be very proud of and communicate more. I’ve always thought founder...

We were the first football club to use the liver bird as part of our iconography and the first club from this great city to win the league. The first Scouse team to win the FA Cup, too. The Originals!

There is no praise high enough for Ndiaye, who offers an extremely good attack threat. To get even more out of him in the team we need players around him who can link up and play (Baines/Pienaar mode). The team needs to be built around him on the...

Agreed. When hes in the hybrid position he can have long periods where he doesnt see the ball and unable to have any influence. Gueye is undroppable for Moyes though which then means Rohl, Armstrong, Tim have no chance of getting prolonged...

I think as an 8 he'd still make the kind of runs that get him goals. He's a very clever player. Anonymous first half, trying to help the midfield, too late to support Beto. Hybrid role doesnt help him in these type of games. 2nd half he stepped...

I understand why Moyes plays him as a 10 but going forward I'd love to see him as an 8 as well. Think we'd benefit from him being on the ball more in deeper areas provided of course we had someone that could slot in further up top.
