And what has my view on certain alleged links being untrue got to do with me advising people be wary of accusing people of murder if there isn't clear evidence to support it?

In the broad sense, the behaviour while in office seems broadly similar, as the same with Trump. We just apply different contexts to it.

Well it's not whatabouterry and secondly of course making comparisons is valid.
If the US and or the UK want to potential put sanctions on an administration, why is it "invalid" to compare their behaviours? Far from being invalid, I would say it was essential.
So I'll ask again, do countries who's leaders try to
1) Throw out people's votes based on the colour of their skin
2) Suspend their elected assembly when they ask questions that scrutinise the executive
3) Leak statements like "crush the saboteurs" to their mates in the when questioned, within the context of one of their supporters murdering an MP in the months proceeding that statement (so a clear dog whistle)
4) Try to steal an election, by refusing to count votes
5) When you lose an election, to organise a coup, with supporters arming themselves and illegal invading the elected assemblies head quarters. Then with leading figures in your party telling those invaders, where the whereabouts of your political opponents are (knowing full well they are armed).
This is just the last couple of years. I'll be intrigued as to why you think it is "invalid" to discuss those tings, when the above 2 countries want to talk about sanctions for the political conduct to a third country. Should they not put their own house in order first perhaps? And not accuse those who highlight these crimes, that their views are "not valid" or merely "whataboutery"?
