I think equivalency like this is anti-academic and would be regarded as unhelpful by Russia-oriented scholars.

Thats your opinion.

I think organising to prevent people from voting because they are black, intimidating people who count votes with armed mobs, attempting a coup with an armed mob, giving the whereabouts of elected opponents to said armed mob, trying to illegally discount legally made votes etc goes far beyond anything we've seen in most countries recently, including Russia.

But your view is such condemnation is "anti-academic" and "unhelpful" to highlight these issues, and the myriad of other infractions.

You fellas are boring me to actual tears here.

Can you both koff to the current affairs forum with the rest of the arsebiscuits?

Thanks

The point is, in relation to Usmanov, there is no precedent to sanction him or any other person in Russia on the base of alleged misdemeanours that is not highly hypocritical.

Do you mean Trump or Biden? There are great similarities in the two men, but only one had the media on his side. I suggest(and this is a suggestion based on a lot of time spent in the US over many years) that people watch and await developments in the US over the next 18 months or so before they decide that Biden in particular and the DEmocrats in general are better for the US and therefore the world than the previous incumbent at the White House. The real political argument, all over the world, is about the Establishment versus various new orders, some of which are a bad thing, but many of which are a good thing.Money will continue to talk the loudest, whatever the source.

Yeah, look into it. They're actually really good friends. Man's a hedge funder who has made his millions off other people misery so it's only natural he'd have friends like that complete horror.
So people are miserable when they have heat and light? What do you mean by 'other peoples misery'. Since the corrupt capitalist society was nurtured at least 50 years ago there have been haves and have nots and lots of people in between. Its what happens. While the 'creative' side of what I do for a living(at 79) has been virtually non existent for 12 months of lock down etc., the mail order side has been very very good, because more people are buying online.Thats just the way it goes.

Whenever I hear about “the establishment“ I shudder. Trump just had 4 tears in the White House. Murdoch, boris and farage committed us to 50 years out of the EU. They are all closely aligned with your establishmen. There are no similarities between trump (a nut job) and Biden. just go QANON if u have any belief in the contr
