Please tell me you don't really think this? Best game! I am embarrassed how we played, our defending was eratic, apart from the goals (two attacks) we had nothing going forward. We did exactly what people on here **** other teams off for doing at goodison. But i have never seen any team as negative at goodison as we were last night.(even before the sending off) Why when we lost victor did we not try and keep possession, work for each other by moving into space, NO we was content on hoofing the ball straight back to them and sitting on our own penalty box. we are well and truly back to being the most direct, hoofball, boring team in the premiership!!.

Neville did an article a few weeks back suggesting we would be going more direct, my heart sank. It has become a reallity, moyes is back in his comfort zone and us poor sods who have committed to season tickets will have to watch this boring unamaganative,direct, [Poor language removed] football until he leaves.

Nice to get three points though.

Bit harsh lad ....we were up against a very good City side who if they won, woud have gone top of the PL. We battled and defended with heart, although I had a few kittens watching them! We got bodies in there were it mattered, denied them space, and worked hard as a unit. Not pretty flowing football I'll grant you - but necessary and effective.

Don't forget we were up against players like Tevez and Silva...however it was good to see that Jo still hasn't figured out how the off-side rule works - the massive belter!

Both of our goals came from nice passing play, so I didn't see too much of us being direct when we were going forward.
