Computer games.

Have you read the news? There is a huge bump in the IPC, and the 3000 are coming in priced right at the same levels as the outgoing 2000 series.

Get a 3000 series. Even the 3600 is matching the i9-9900k on single core performance and beating it on multi-thread. And that is from a $200 USD processor. 6 cores, 12 threads all on a 65W TDP. It is some impressive performance.

All going to depend on price and availability of things...none of the current mobo's will have BIOS support out of the box so you'll need an AM4 chip, which I don't have, to slot in just to update the BIOS if you can't get a hold of a new revision. Bit of a conundrum.

@Dylan you played/own this? On Steam Summer Sale for $9 and has good scores...anyone else? I'd never even heard about it, FFS.

It's free on Google play store for mobile if you want to try it before you buy the steam version.

Nope, and my meagre game time recently is split between DCS, Astroneer and Hotline Miami (how did I wait so long to play this gem!!!!)

Nearly got my first win on GT Sport last night. Had 5 intense laps around Interlagos and came second by around 1.5 seconds.

As I’m getting better I’m getting in to lobbies with less idiots. I think my Sportsmanship Rating is B now which isn’t bad considering I’ve only done 15 races.

Reason #257 why Frontier Developments are the best game devs around:

I followed the tragic story of young Michael on social media and the lengths FDev went to, to make his final days better were absolutely amazing.

Think I’ll spend the rest of the day in Elite: Dangerous in tribute o7

I’m not crying, YOU’RE crying :(
