Computer games.

Anyone tried or have any feedback on the ROG Xbox Ally X?

Lad is asking for one for Christmas.

It’s basically a portable windows pc, not a portable console experience. When it comes to your gaming library , unless they are categorised as “Xbox Play Anywhere” which is basically one purchase covers console , PC and Cloud, you won’t be able to play them directly on the handheld in terms of Xbox Console games if they are not listed as “Xbox Play Anywhere “

If you want my advice I would look into it via gaming websites, YouTubers etc. a lot haven’t exactly been thrilled with it from what I have seen and read.

Microsoft have been a bit misleading with the marketing by trying to label it as a Xbox, it isn’t really, it’s a portable PC.

Besides they are expensive and you don’t want to be paying that kind of money and having the lad be disappointed.

Bit of a long shot, but who knows. For being a bit less of a tit than I usually am I have been rewarded with an old PS3. Might any of you have any idea how to use dualshock 2's (controller) in a PS3? Checked around reddit and a few places but want an opinion from someone that might still be using such dated tech.

Rice, sawdust, spaghetti hoops, yer ma... etc.

Is the DualShock 2 the PS2 controller?

Return of the Obra Dinn

Had this on my wishlist for a while and decided to give it a whirl.
Was a big fan of the dev's earlier game 'Papers Please' so had pretty high expectations for this and it didn't dissapoint.

A really unique narrative driven detective game with a unique art style.
My only gripe would be some of the clues you need to find in order to identify everyone are far too obscure - but for the most part the sleuthing here is fairly satisfying.
You learn early on to search every nook and cranny for hints and find yourself backtracking to earlier deaths to work out which crew members associate with who and why.

Deffo worth a run through this one.

Enjoyed Papers Please and had this on wishlist too, but never knew it was the Same dev. Will definitely get to it

Currently on the way to finishing death stranding before I get back to TOTK

Yer ma's dildo is called the dual shock.
