Your agreeing with me mate, the tactics are spot on if we had a quality centre froward. That was obviously the plan, someone messed up somewhere. If you finish is European spots won year with a way of playing, then sell your best striker, you improve the quality of player in the squad but loose your striker - the problem is you lost you striker, not tactics but personnel and recuritment.
Ive already wirtten of the first half of the season, any points we get are bonus's if we have 20+ points before January and we can get a forward we will be doing well. The season is a right off and its the clubs fault.
Blimey. 10/10 to you sir for loyalty. True Lukaku was a massive help but there is the stat that we'd have still finished 7th without any of his goals (it's true, though I don't know where this stat was spotted). OK, we're missing Coleman and Barkley, too. Likewise Bolasie will help.
But still, Koeman has to work with what he's brought in. I can't think of a single signing he's made that's come in and improved what we had. I'm not being derogatory to Keane and Pickford who are young English players I'd love to see kick-on and do well, early days. Ditto Vlasic.
All Koeman has done is lose Stones, Barkley (realistically) and Lukaku and brought Sigs, Gylfi, Klassen, all poor so far. Rooney past it, I really hoped for fireworks with Barkley, not happening

Williams declining already. Lookman hardly played (shame), Bolasie injured too quickly to judge. The football is awful, is selections are negative and declining to use pacier players at his disposal. Go Go Go.
Give Unsworth a run at the FA cup, he'll sort the defence out too.
