The Croatian situation

If people are wondering what Split and the people who live there are like, just watch the movie " Deliverence " but the people being more racist.

Unnecessary stereotyping of a city and all its people...

Oh yeah, it was Deliverance !

I can imagine the WhatsApp exchange between you.

I can imagine the whatsapp conversation with the mods too.

@chicoazul
Why is it us who has to spot the titheads on here and tackle them instead of the mods?

You think we don't spot and bin many of them before they get to the forum ?
Not saying we're perfect, but to suggest the Mod Team idly sit around doing nothing is just wrong and very unfair.

And instead of tackling any 'titheads' that do get through - use the report function and let the Mod Team deal with them.

@AndyC becoming a mod doesn't mean than you vacate a usually sound poster style and turn into an electronic teacher who disengages the regular posters?

I thank you for the 'usually sound poster' comment, and I don't think I have vacated to being an electronic teacher who disengages.
Chico, I think you read me wrongly... and I was not trampling over Blues to protect Hajduk posters, my comment to you was made in an attempt, albeit obviously a failed one, to try to keep things calm and hopefully relatively friendly.

In my opinion, and that of whichever member of the Mod Team threadbanned you, you were going a bit too far in your stereotyping of all the Hajduk posters, some of whom I totally agree were idiots, but some of whom seemed okay.

Do the right thing and apologise to the blues who you trampled over to protect yugobells who'd signed up the day before. Come on.

I don't feel an apology is necessary given what I've explained, but if it'll bring this to an end... I'll say sorry.

Now give us a kiss and go back to winding up RS eh ?
Im not accepting any reluctant Tory apology. Say it like you mean it. We want to see sincerity.

What ??? The gwladys took on millwall ???
they hammerd them, think it was something like 8 Millwall stabbed in there most multiple times, i aged about 9 or ten had the misfortune to be sitting on a barrier right in the middle of it.
nobody got killed it was bad for a one of theirs for a few days , as joey66 has said that does tell you the true scale of it as many more of them were webbed all over the Street end for what seemed a long time to myself, pretty scary , last night wasn't even that bad i thought load of nonsense.

Sock it to him Andy!

I say this team deserves a no-holds-barred forum match preview in the away leg. Someone not afraid to pull punches. Someone with a black belt in the art of stick. And a forum with the balls and in one case the humility to platform it. And I just hope it's GOT cause arsed if I'm going to set an account elsewhere.

Get it done.

If you think yesterday was bad behaviour, you probably should spare yourself the grief of going to our gaff :D
Nothing special happened for Croatian standards, nobody will be seeing this as a 'result'. Nor will tensions be any higher than.they would.have.been if it hadnt happened.
As far as a pitch invasion goes, that would.mean us kicked out for good, and the top lads know.this so were trying to stop people from going in, that was also the fighting you saw.between ourselves. Had they decided to kick off instead, it would have been really, really ugly

You sound like a moody Cass Pennant. Are you one of the londsale wearing tramps aswell?

Was well after the goal I thought, might be wrong though.

I remember our crowd getting loud, just singing Everton, Everton... and then they went mental. The speed at which they all moved it looked like they got a signal off one of them cheerleaders or something. Almost looked pre-planned.

It was pretty soon after we scored mate
Different times differnt cultures as you say , seen them in the escort after the game , they weren't all kids , lads at the back
were older skinhead types.
Good point you made about the younger fans not seening stuff like that I thought it was nothing really, as you say the younger fans aren't used to seeing it.
Like I said to the journalist , nothing will go on, there 30 yrs to late.

I've seen far, far worse in my time, so it was a bit weird to hear lads in their late twenties and thirties around me saying they've never seen anything so bad.

Doubtless that shows how much has changed in the last thirty years, pretty much all for the better.

Who knows, the Croats and the other countries where hooliganism is still an issue might actually grow up too in time

Tell your top lads they are gentlemen and scholars and thank you very much for not going past the 50 odd year old fat fellas in yellow coats to attack us. We are forever grateful you bumbag wearing bell ends

Haha

Top post, basically they were just acting hard for the camera. Absolute quilts the lot of them, as were their players for going over to them to applaud them at the end of game, which was basically condoning their behaviour.

I hope they beat us 3-0 in Split just before they're banned by UEFA causing us to get reinstated. That'll teach 'em.

The stewards piped them down cause the top lads did everything they could to stop the escalation, as it would mean expulsion from Europe. If not, your moms&kids stand would have been charged and thank God it didnt come to that

It's nice to read that the Croat Club for Big Hard Boys are secure enough with their masculinity to freely admit they prefer to attack women and children. It ties in well with the security one has to be an overweight middle-aged male in a group of fellow overweight middle-aged males and happily strip to the waist and perform the ritualistic dance of breaking plastic chairs, which I believe is an ancient South Slavic performative metaphor for complete sexual immersion.*

It's interesting you mention the 'top lads', too. I mean, most of you looked like bottom lads to me. At least the ones I saw lined up on their hands and knees in the stray dog orgy on Neston Street after the game, they were all definitely bottom lads.**

Obviously your sexual choices are your own and nobody else's business. I'd only recommend that, if all this violence comes from a repression of your sexual urges, you'll find that many blues, especially the likes of @chicoazul @Bungle and @bizzaro, are open to pretty much anything you can imagine. All you need to do is ask.

*Complete Sexual Immersion, or CSI, is the act of one man, normally known as a Tropicada or something, placing his entire body inside the anus of a fellow club member.
** In the sense that they played the reciprocal role in unprotected anal sex with stray, semi-wild dogs. That isn't to say that roles might not have been reversed if circumstances were conducive, although it appears the Tropicana Top Lads suffer a bit with erectile dysfunction issues. This may have been something to do with the fact most of the dogs were HIV positive which, let's be honest, would worry anyone!.

Think everything is blown out of proportion nowadays. Last night was nothing at all. Like you said people of our age watching in the 60's, 70's and 80's more or less experienced far worse at most home and away games. It was just the nature of the beast those days and yesterday was absolutely nothing compared yet is exaggerated as something major.
