Your a bad enabler you!

Just say no Dave!

Haha.

I've loved The Special K's evolution on here.

When he first posted he came across a happy group of pro club hippies who lambasted his every word. He didn't let it perturb him and carried on despite all manners of abuse. After a while he was accepted and now he is the singular approved official KenWRONGer on here. He brings us balance.

All hail Dave.

He can do what he likes with his own Everton shareholding really - its his, its not Everton its just his own shareholding - the other shareholders will have them elsewhere - for him to take capital out of Everton to Bills other companies it would be reflected in the books and need board approval. Im guessing he has just rationalised his assets bringing them all under the one umbrella. Probably seperated his shareholdings in both companies from fixed assets.

I would suspect the opposite may be true seeing that his theratre company seems in better shape then Everton.

If you were being extreamly optimistic reading between the lines seperating his shareholding from his fixed assests and rationaliseing the same could in theory make it more accessable for anyone wanting to buy it.
Thats how I was thinking but being Everton I am scared to say so as they have a record of making us all look silly

Its nothing to do with Everton really - its just were Kenwright holds his shares and structures his liabilites if everything went pear shaped. His Everton shareholding is held under Bill Kenwright LTD now with this, dont know were he held it before that since TBH was disolved in the early 2000's - its bascily a bit of a tax dodge as Mutzo was saying. Earl i think holds his shareholding somewhere of shore in the Caeman islands or something.

The other way to view this is are the shares really Kenwrights?

Kenwright borrowed his stake money for his shareholding off Anita Gregg, she was repaid after True Blue Holdings was wound up, I’ll let you make an educated guess where Kenwright obtained the money from!!!

So bearing in mind Kenwrights theatrical company turns over £46 million
and this film Cherie crashed and burned after massive investment.(Dave K can fill in the details)..if I were a certain BVI based kingpin who had leant Kenwright the money and had significant hidden financial interest in Everton FC, ...I would be instructing Kenwright who is effectively acting as a nominee for his shares to shift those shares into a legally seperate entity.

Not that I'm one to gossip or anything

All joking aside, you cant blame Bill protecting his core business activity from that Everton Football Club malarkey. The lad's got to be free to speculate $20M or so on the next Hollywood flop.

I think you are on to something with those comments.

According to the article, Kenwrights shares were held under Bill Kenwright Ltd up until January 2009. These shares have subsequently been transferred to a new company although the article does not state what that company is?

Meanwhile, one of Kenwrights companies goes into liquidation and a major investment loses £14m

So what has happened?

Is Kenwright's core business in difficulty and is he protecting his investment in Everton by moving the shareholding into a 'safer place' or is he merging his and other shares under the umbrella of one particular company prior to a sale?

It will be interesting to find out where these shares have gone.

Hed be doing well paying himself a dividend on shares he doesnt own mate!

*At least on paper!

You're speculating massively there mate. Don't let your hatred of him cloud your judgement like so many others.
Hatred, what gave you that idea?

I wouldn't say I was speculating massively. The shares have been shifted about, it is not clear where or why. I am merely curious to understand who owns these shares?

As it happens, I do actually believe that there is something in the Philip Green story. It has been reported by various sources over a number of years so it wouldn't surprise me if Philip Green did actually own some of the shares previously thought to belong to Kenwright. I'm not saying it is a fact, just that I believe that Green is finanacially involved with Everton.
