Only 17 Premier League appearances behind Ryan Giggs now. I'd love for him to overtake him. Barry is a model Pro and whilst Giggs was too, he's a despicable human being.

Agree. He may not last the full ninety but he still has 50 to 60 minutes in his locker. Remember lets not write him off too fast as threadbare squad will be with us for at least untill the summer.

His positioning and awareness of the game is something you really can't teach. Sure, he doesn't have the legs for a full match, but he's a fantastic option either off the bench, starting the match for slightly more than a half or an emergency fill-in. Just because he's not at his peak doesn't mean he can't serve a vital purpose for the club.

barry will be used sparingly now, but agree with Eggs a class act in his day just sub appearances now unless injuries to other players take its toll?

Gareth Barry has had his fair share of controversy in his private life. Granted, he didn't screw his brothers wife but he's hardly someone who can be held up as a fine example of a man off the field.
