True story:
He tried to buy my ex a drink in a bar in Manchester a few years ago when he still played for City. She had no idea who he was till her friend told her afterwards.

I'm not suggesting anything against his character here by the way, I'm sure he was just being a gent.

Agree, was probably compounded by Morgan tiring from his lack of game time as well.

I was really expecting Gana to replace him at HT. You knew B'mouth were gonna go hard for goals and Barry isn't so good at breaking up attacks as Gana is.

Spot on.

I expected him to be the first player subbed because he was off the pace in the second half.

Did well in the first half though. I think he played today because Koeman doesn't want to overuse Davies and we'll see Barry back on the bench over at Boro.

Played well in the first half, faded badly in the second. Can still do a job for us off the bench when we need some cover in the middle.

Been a superb servant for us, but he's in the same boat as Jagielka now, shouldn't really be starting games. It's weird how we've gone from having Cleverly as 3rd choice to Barry being 4th choice in the space of a month.

He showed the best bit if composure on the pitch day. When Ademola did his tricky-thingy and Barry receieved the ball he coolly shipped it on to Barkley, many would have had a "WTF!!" Moment and gone into meltdown.
