Landon Donovan

Actually...

Actually, having your "posting style" compared to a computer isn't that bad a joke. I simply had no idea Brownie was commenting on my "posting style", so it sounded...

I'm moving on.

Nice to meet you, Brownie. I introduced myself on the new person thread, but I know it's the give-and-take of these little things that truy baptize you. (How do you feel about pineapple on your pizza - by the way.)

I can say this about my style: I definitely don't have all the answers and have no inside connections. So, I do tend to ask "why" a lot and assume that everyone (here) has the answers to my questions.

I assume everyone knows more than me until they demonstrate otherwise. And I'll probably NEVER be bored enough to engage in an online duel.

Thanks...

Wonder if Landon puts pineapples on his pizza? I think that may explain a few things...

OK - I am going to duck out now so the subject can be properly refocused on our apparent new signing...

I really don't see what the problem is to be honest.

Another player for 3 months or so, excellent. Whether he settles in well or not, he gives Moyes options.

Its a problem from my perspective mate, others may not agree - i dont think he will settle in two and half months and adjust to the prem in time to be any way significant.

I also dont think its the right move when you have a squad players with massive injury/depth problems going on two years now and you choose a player who will give you two and a half months rather then six - i mean he would have to be a hell of player to be twice another player on the market we could get for six months. Like i say he also has t prove he can play in the Prem and adjust in that time - i dont think he can or will, just on past expierence.

Ill always give the lad a chance and wait till i see more of him to make up my mind, hell im sure he has something to offer i just think the foundation wont be there for the lad or the team to flourish in a short space of time and from that point of view i think its a bad move for the lad and Everton. I cant help but think we will be seeing posts like this in the next few months:

"you could tell he was a player by the glimpses of quality he showed on the ball, but he wasnt here long enough"

Hopefully he is in form.
Hopefully he is focused on the world cup.
Hopefully he has had a slight rest since the end of the MLS season and is fresh and injury free.
Hopefully he provides us with a different option, though I would not like to be Jo now.

I think he is coming here for a taster of the Prem, his stay could be longer

Agreed, a big summer for him and we could get priced out, but that means USA qualifying beyond the groups and him scoring a lot of goals. I hope it happens, the sooner the American machine starts producing the caliber of footballers it produces for basketball, pads & forward passes rugby, athletics, ice hockey and steroid ball (sorry baseball) then the sooner the American game will pick up.

We play Football over here. I know for a fact that the people I was posing the question to will know what I meant, thus really no need for you to stick your extra large snout in.

Reported. Physical differences or deformities are not permiscible as reasons to victimise. The Nazis led by Hitler bullied and killed people with big noses. Shame on you.
