Koeman is long gone... It's not koeman who's pulling the strings right now.
Why did Koeman and Fernandes fall out at Valencia?

Why did Koeman and Fernandes fall out at Valencia?
Got late for training and after that had a poor showdown against Rosenborg.
Sorry I meant Benfica. Why did Koeman and Fernandes fall out at Benfica?
To be honest Koeman has a bad tendency of falling out with players. He does it at virtually every club.
that's because he's a ****

At Benfica, nothing really.
He just picked Beto instead of Manny a lot of times. I don't think that's a fall out.
I heard they had a fall out to be honest. They certainly don't like each other which is why Manny left.
There was an article about it before Fernandes left Valencia.
Nope, Fernandes left because of greed, wether it was him or his agent i don't know.
But that was it. Koeman left at the end of that season, so if there had been a fall out on the base of his departure he wouldn't leave as his new manager wanted him in the squad. Actually, he was part of it and he left under strange circumstances for the fans at least.
Later it was explained that although the club and manager regarded him as an important member of the squad he had requested a move to Portsmouth.
After that more facts came to light, it was all about money.
Fernandes left to better himself. Obviously because of the wages but thats the same as every other young up and coming player. You move to place like England to be paid more money and to play against better opposition. He did exactly the same thing as the likes of Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson did etc.
I've been told by a few sources that he had a disagreement with Koeman. Benfica fans has told me that themselves. There was also an article before Fernandes returned saying he and Koeman didn't see eye to eye.
The difference was that those players went to Man Utd and Fernandes went to Portsmouth. I don't think that was step forward in his career because as much as I dislike Benfica, i'd say that they are a better club than Portsmouth not to mention they play CL football on a regular basis.
If he did have a fall out with Koeman it was about Koeman's choices. I mean, Koeman's choices weren't based on any fall out, but probably a supposed fall out may have started because of Koeman's choices.
IMHO, a player that falls out with his manager over not being first choice is not the model professional.
And at Valencia there were reports of night time activity by fernandes and Miguel. The difference was that Miguel showed composed performances but not Manny.
I have the idea that Manny is not easiest person to deal with. But he's still has time to learn how to behave professionally. And he better settles down or we'll be passing on a very good talent.

he's one of those players who we'll still talk about potential when he's in his 30s.
Sort of like a jazzy Tony Grant.
