Hopefully the recruitment team that we’re paying a salary to, you would think.
Anybody involved in last summer's "recruitment" should be removed from that position this year: "committee", CEO, and manager alike.

Let's hope the "competent professionals" who were on gardening leave last summer and have joined since are up to the job - because last summer's mob certainly weren't...

Yeah definitely. Let’s see what they’ve been up to in the last 8 months.

I trust the committee have learned from last year and presented a list of targets to Moyes in advance rather than waiting until June to ensure no time is wasted chasing targets that he doesn’t want. Competent and well paid professionals have surely thought of this.

That squad is down to Moyes. He had the final say.

I think who is spending it is at least as relevant...
Yes but not for the purpose of the topic which was on the ownership.

Can only measure the ownership on the amount available to spend + the amount they actually spend this summer.

Dude the recruitment team dont sign the players. Its Moyes.

So what are the recruitment team doing mate? What are we paying them to do, can you possibly elaborate?

Youve been told this many times by multiple posters and so my only suggestion at this point would be checking through online everton articles.

Or perhaps hypnotherapy?

Iraola was sacked from his first club and then chose to leave the next 3.

Glasner also chose to leave his clubs but I think one may have been mutual consent.

I’d rather have a manager that doesn’t just view us as a stepping stone for a year or 2 and will stay to build long term success.
I'd rather a top class manager who's got the ambition and ego to want to manage right at the top and I'd hope we as a club can match those ambitions. Even if we can't we'll be in a better position for a new manager to take over from

I don’t know about you but I’d take a manager coming in, winning the FA Cup and Community Shield, having us in the semi final of a European competition we are favourites to win, beating Liverpool a load of times including at Wembley, beating a load of the top teams, and then leaving us in mid table after he’d finished.

I’d absolutely take that if someone offered it now as to how the next 3 seasons might go.
I take your manager views with a pinch of salt based on recent history tbh.

Iraola is a flavour of the month mercenary no mark that hasn’t won a pot. He isn’t coming here and winning us 3 trophies in the next 2 years.

Glasner would stand more of a chance but if you think anyone is coming in and doing what you are saying, more fool you to be honest. We have just extended keanes contract again, we aren’t winning anything soon.

it’s also the weigh up of building for sustained success rather than 2 good years and back to obscurity for a decade. There’s a bigger picture.

Iraola is 10x the manager David Moyes is.

Look at the players who have joined or been at Bournemouth under him.

Then look at how massively so many have improved across the entire 11.

Its just ridiculous how well hes done there.
