Questionable decision by Forest IMO bbc were reporting yesterday if his average since going there was extended over the season, they’d be mid table.

It’s a bit of a mess there - four managers in what 6 months….

On record as always being hugely grateful to him for the job he did here, so sad it hasn’t worked out for him, he lives there etc.

Hopefully Forest go down, mess of a club, who behave without any class or dignity!

Remind you of anything? His plan is to build teams to be resolute at the back, and when that isn't working he's at a loss...

...because offensively, his teams are dreadful. With the squad at this disposal, they should be nowhere near where they are.

We're still % based, pragmatic now.

We've scored 1 more goal at this stage now, vs same stage under Dyche - despite lashing £100m+ on Barry, Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall, Dibling and Rohl.

I think it'll only change when we get full backs who can cross the half way line, and some pace out wide.

It’s funny we all warned them he was a fraud, but they weren't having it “nah, he knows the city.” "Imagine Dyche with this squad though" etc etc
In fairness to them - and perhaps it's because they have a stronger squad than the Quorn mince he was working with at Goodison - they saw through him in totality in far less time.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he went for Thomas Frank, who I think is way to astute to take a job as poisonous as this.
Its nearly a two horse race for survival in which you'd start with an advantage, demand a huge survival bonus and you are only putting up with jabba the scab for a few months with what you could call a success on your CV.

That being said it feels like west ham have the bit between their teeth right now.

It's also the best way to become "the relegation manager at chaotic clubs."

Frank would be better served sitting it out and going for a club that over performed one season and sack their manager when they are on the wane the next.

Palace would be ideal. Or, ironically, Forest back when they were hiring Ange.

I can understand why neutrals seem perplexed, 78% think it was a bad decision on BBC (poll is half way down the page here).

He joined with them in chaos, identity crisis in playing style - Nuno sacked, then Ange after this;

His remit was keep them up;

... he'd have done so.

But, considering he has months left in the job no matter what - I understand the sacking. There was never a chance he was surviving beyond this summer and I've long shared a view that you can't allow a very obviously interim manager to manage a relegation fight.

They'll be hoping new manager bounce can box them off quickly, and maybe win the Europa, with this type of new manager novelty;

*waits.

I’ll be having a chicken Bhuna, mushroom rice and garlic naan this evening.
I would be amazed if the players didn’t hate him and asked the fat mess of dna in charge to get rid.

What. A. Manager.
