Just looked the right fit but I do think lots of these appointments are about the right person in the right place at the right time.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he went for Thomas Frank, who I think is way to astute to take a job as poisonous as this.

It should be. Sacked from 2 jobs in only 13 months with both teams left in 17th and within 1 result of relegation zone.

It just goes to show that players can click and have a good season and then not maintain it. I dont think Elanga is doing a great deal for Newcastle either (1 goal and 1 assist in 34 games for him). Could the absence of Chris Wood really be whats costing them this season?

I dont think Frank has as much credit in the bank with many any more given how Brentford have improved without him and how badly he did at Spurs.
