Surely, if any club deserves to be relegated for a particular reason, working your way through 4 managers in a single season is one. I'd feel sorry for their fans having to suffer such an owner as Marinakis if they were'nt such scabs singing the songs they sing.

As for their new manager, who'd want that job? Surely only a mercenary with no care for what's coming (sack, relegation or both) would consider it.

I was no fan of Dyche with his anti football tactics, but as the man that did enough to make us difficult to beat in order to stay up, he did his job. Clearly not the right man to take us forward under the new owners, but in the position Forest are in now, surely you'd think Dyche would keep them in the league.

Got to admit, I was surprised by that win percentage graphic when I saw it this morning.

At a gut level, I think Evertonians (very much including myself) are conflating the crap football we endured with his performance at Forest - and there's a big dollop of schadenfreude to help it down.

Marinakis being so trigger happy meant that we've been expecting it, too.
He’s had 18 PL games and got 22 points at Forest…the other games must be European games so it is a bit misleading.

I am also surprised at the win percentage, even if you take out Europe it is still better than the table would suggest.

However, as we know football is more than numbers on a page, and it did seem only a matter of time before he was gone. They just could not get away from the relegation scrap, even with that win percentage. Maybe the earlier wins inflated it a bit and West Ham putting a bit of pressure on his forced the cracks to appear more obvious.

Questionable decision by Forest IMO bbc were reporting yesterday if his average since going there was extended over the season, they’d be mid table.

It’s a bit of a mess there - four managers in what 6 months….

On record as always being hugely grateful to him for the job he did here, so sad it hasn’t worked out for him, he lives there etc.

Hopefully Forest go down, mess of a club, who behave without any class or dignity!

I watched them against Leeds and it was genuinely the worst performance I’ve seen from any team this season. From a neutral perspective, sacking him after that probably would’ve gone down better than doing it after a game where they had 35 shots against Wolves.

That said, I do think they’ve regressed overall under Dyche. They’re awful on the ball, he doesn’t seem capable of organising a midfield properly, and Anderson looks a shadow of the player he was before Dyche came in.

On the owner this

Dyche could have done better in the role, but that owner is a disgrace and the Forest fans let him get away with murder on a regular basis because they’re desperate for his money

Just you wait

Fan after fan calling in saying “We love Mr. Marinakis. Yes, he treated Nuno like dirt and probably cost us Champions League by piling the pressure on him rather than letting him get on with the job, is near on impossible to work for, has humiliated our club by making us look like a bunch of whiny snitches, and he’s somehow managed to get through FOUR managers in one season and have us down in the relegation dogfight. But we still love him anyway. Please don’t go Mr. Marinakis sir. Please sir, let us sniff your crotch sir. Our club is just your plaything sir and we’re happy to let you have it just so long as we can be in the Premiership sir”

Weak willed pathetic excrement stains the lot of em

Dyche, makes it all about Dyche.
Everything beyond that is a failure of the Basics..

The same "Basics" that his whole football philosophy is grounded in.

He is a fraud of a manager..

Thanks for helping us keep afloat, but not for paddling us into deeper water..
