Interested to know why you think it's better than Spurs though when everyone creams over their ground?

I can think of something else that will destroy them...Our new home is magnificent, but the fact that you can't get a ticket unless you're a member is absurd.
This will destroy our attendances.
As a sunderland season ticket holder who also attends Everton games since a boy it was very impressive. Walk from train upto ground wasn’t too far, the few bar on the stretch were big enough. Nice touch with the entry through the big walls. Concourse was really good with the food vans for fans. Looks awesome from outside. Lack of toilets in the lower bowl was [Poor language removed], food and machines very quick to get served, great view, decent atmosphere and sure it will get better when the players on the pitch perform. Perfect results on pens even though it certainly wasn’t a penalty in normal time. Will be back this year before the end of the season if a can get a ticket vs Man City beginning of May. I’ll be in the away end in May with Sunderland so I’ll see a few different sets of experiences for the atmosphere. I’ve been in the away end the last 2 season at St James’s and have seen a draw and win so hopefully I can source another 2 if anyone has any ready for me28 Feb. Superb ground. Better than Spurs last week, maybe bias but felt a football stadium
Let me ask you a question mate: what did you think when you found out Everton had ditched their own home kit to play in a 4th kit and allow Sunderland to play in their Home kit?Can only echo what else was said by our fans on here, really impressive ground visually, loved the fan plaza bit outside especially and the internal bit of the ground (the actual pitch side) was deeply impressive. You should be buzzed with what you’ve got for the next century or more!
Done Brentford, Spurs and Everton in a week - and Everton’s in the best I think (or will be the best at least). Brentford is modern but nowt to it, Spurs is beautiful but corporate as owt.
Hopefully you just add a bit more Everton to the ground (are you getting the crest on the seats for example? And the surrounding area is gonna build up, which will be mint.
Early kick off and full game didn’t help overall atmosphere but the noise when you celebrated the penalty and goal, and a few times when instances really against you and the crowd was up, was very very loud - so the acoustics are top notch and you will get it rocking eventually I’m sure of it. Wouldn’t want to be there as an away fan if the entire ground is singing and you’re on top in the game!
Nobody on here will give a monkeys, why would you, but the concourse for away fans is a little bit of a let down. I was section 119, and it was really difficult to get served or go to the toilet, as there just didn’t seem enough facilities for either. But maybe that’ll come with time - you’re still bedding in!
Was saying to one of the lads as we left, feels a prime investment opportunity - but I’m sure you Toffees are already aware of that!
What's your showstopper? Bit of Van Morrison?not stadium related but pubs ,but after that game I really enjoyed all the pubs having singers on . I’m sure we were all in the mood for that
On another note has anyone been that dock wall yet & is it any good ?
Ha ha , I like to have a pint and moan about Everton for a period until alcohol softens the mood and on occasion impromptu Everton signing starts .What's your showstopper? Bit of Van Morrison?
Yeah it's alright - a big long room with a decent amount of seating and loads of standing room. Long bar goes almost the full length of the room and plenty of staff on so no long wait to be served. Massive screen at the end and plenty more screens on the wall above the seating. On another note has anyone been that dock wall yet & is it any good ?
Nice one mate . Hopefully I’ll give that a go , feels like it might feel like a pub .Yeah it's alright - a big long room with a decent amount of seating and loads of standing room. Would extending the current "gate" on both sides help? That might be the easiest solution if boring a new gate is not legally possible.Something needs to be done about the dock walls. I’m all for preserving heritage where it’s warranted, but it’s a wall FFS & there’s enough of it that a couple of 30ft gaps or gates in it won’t harm it’s appeal.
If there was ever a bomb scare or other emergency, there will be people crushed. It’s a genuine safety hazard.
