It’s pubs doing what they think is coolYou noticed that when people get a pint in those places they look miserable not being able to speak to who they're with and leave abruptly after.
Congestion problems aren't a surprise here. One of the main reasons I wasn't keen on the location in the first place is that 3 sides of a stadium are surrounded by water. There's only ever going to be one way in and out.
We knew the dock walls could only be opened in small places.
It was obvious there would be huge congestion problems.
If you are in the stand adjacent to the Mersey and you don't leave sharpish on or before full time, your only escape is to walk past one side of the ground - with a limited pathway on both sides.
Now it was obvious all this would be problematic and we had years of preparation time - should have known the council in this city would be useless and do pretty much nothing so it was down to us to try and make it right.
Which we haven't, mainly because it's not possible in a location with only one road in and out.
It is an air raid siren. What connection has an air raid siren with a 21st century football match? Do you think it has any negative connotations in an area the Germans tried to obliterate? How is it embarrassing?

Its an upbeat song...any song that's upbeat will feel out of whack right now.Keep the sirens but jib any suggestion of there she goes being a regular somg pre game. Its a decent song but its miles away from being a decent footy anthem
Poor Merlin. No wonder he's struggling to settle. It is an air raid siren. What connection has an air raid siren with a 21st century football match? Do you think it has any negative connotations in an area the Germans tried to obliterate?

Why? Is he a Gerrrman? Maybe his grandad flew one of the bombers. Our budgie Peter was killed in '41 by the Geerrrmans.Poor Merlin. No wonder he's struggling to settle.
If his grandad was as accuate as Merlin is, he wouldn't have hit too many targets...Why? Is he a Gerrrman? Maybe his grandad flew one of the bombers. Our budgie Peter was killed in '41 by the Geerrrmans.
