Gonna get pelters for this, but the Grand old team song needs scrapping at the new stadium, it doesn’t really fit in my opinion. I’d also replace z-cars with there she goes.

Honestly as good as these are, I get tired of the club putting stuff like this out. Random limbs from a goal during a match we drew with a sickener at the end that’s probably cost us a decent go at Europe.

Perhaps if the club ever got over the line in a meaningful way there’d be a much better crowd reaction to push out on their socials.

I know it’s overly negative but I’m fed up of this club always just pushing the fans to the front whenever they’ve had a bad night ‘look how good our fans are’…yes we know, we’re the only good thing about the club for the last three decades.

How about a few videos of Everton players lifting trophies, winning away at top teams and beating Liverpool in derbies. Not much of that content to go out is there.

Couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately I think some of our fans buy into it as well.

Lost count of the amount of times over the years people have shared an “on this day X amount of years ago” video of the Arteta goal against Fiorentina and the associated atmosphere. Dwelling on it like it was one of the “great” moments. We were timid as hell in the first leg, played very well in that second leg, but as per usual, bottled the shootout and got knocked out. Rangers beat them in the next round!

Watching the cl semi final last night it occurred to me that all we need to do with all exposed concrete at our place is just cover it with loads of flags and banners. The Bayern stadium last night looked absolutely fantastic

No, they beat PSV in the QF and Rangers then beat them in the semi final. A lot of people seem to think we actually reached the QF rather than the last 16.

No, they beat PSV in the QF and Rangers then beat them in the semi final. A lot of people seem to think we actually reached the QF rather than the last 16.

I stand corrected Tbf, it was their subsequent game against PSV I had missed, I didn't think we had got to the QF. Which even if we did, the point stands, its not some incredible glory moment that needs reliving!
