Lets be fair here,

ON THIS DAY: In 2025, Everton appointed David Moyes for the second time.

The Toffees' rank in the PL in that time:

◉ Wins (10th)
◉ Points (=9th)
◉ Clean sheets (5th)
◉ Goals conceded (5th)
◉ Goals scored (15th)

They were 16th when he took charge.

I for one am glad im not looking out for results of teams in the bottom 3.
But we probably will be soon cos Moyes is a clown

The people clamouring for Moyes to stay would be the same as the Palace fans calling for Hodgson to stay on at Palace.

Move on now, Moyes is just another Dyche or Fat Sam but he comes with Bluetooth. Get rid of the negative dinosaur

people are clamoring to wait till the summer and let you know our actual owners choose

I'd defo give him until the end of the season. He's done himself no favours with the manner of our exits from both cups. Needs a good second half of the season or else he goes.
We need a young progressive manager.

To those voting go, which particular names do you think we could attract to push us on? Cba reading the entire thread to find out if this has been discussed. I saw someone mention elsewhere Thomas Frank (if he's sacked) but my mind boggles at that choice when he's getting upstaged by Keith Andrews thus far. Could we attract Iraola/Glasner with a "warchest"? Villa got Emery for just over £5m, bargain when you look at the Champions League qualifications.

Not a good result for the crowd that despises him
I suspect if the poll had been:

stay?
go?
dont know (or stay until the end of the season)

the result would have been very revealing.

As it is though, 4 out of every 10 posters on here have seen enough right now to want him gone asap.

The jig should be up for Moyes if we dont get top ten....which is very achievable.

I can't blame the manager with this squad. Worst strikers and full backs in the league.

4 years of no spending in the Premier League was always going to take time to fix. Moyes wanted to bring in expereince but the club wanted to go with youth, it was always going to be tough getting through this year.

Be patient guys. I totally get it, I was at Hill Dickinson for the first time Yesterday. Beto shouldn't be playing for us.

Exactly. Because they were considered technically proficient to take responsibility for two very good national sides. Do you think anyone would offer Moyes control of something similar? And before you suggest Scotland……..take a pause and realise what Scotland are compared to the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal in terms of football standing.
Wasn't my point mate, just an observation on the post.

But if international management grabs your attention more than the league format, maybe your ambitions in management has gone off the boil.

2 people that went straight from us to that format, maybe we are a curse..

Koeman - not really a surprise, but
I wouldn't have thought Martinez would have made that jump.

Why exactly do you believe national team management is inferior to club management?

I hear this a lot but its completely mystifying to me. I'd love for someone to logically unpack and roll out that argument.

When did we change our motto to " being average will do "
When we came up with this
