You are wrong it is an illegal physical contact if it had been an Everton player having his "hair" would you still be saying that is ok ?
I'm not going to get into an argument about whether a hair pull is an illegal physical contact or not, but do you really think it's more violent than a shove in the back, or deliberate trip which routinely escape a straight red card punishment? The red card wasn't given for "illegal physical contact", it was given for violent conduct.

I appreciate your educated response, refreshing, unlike the fingers and abuse that often appear.
Anyway, since 1878, our Rome has been built, then demolished, rebuilt, ad nauseam (bit of Latin for you mate).
We strive for Nil Satis Nisi Optimun (more Latin, sorry, but the only bit that most will know) but these things go in cycles, so I repeat... tolerance, patience...
GED I think most of us could sue them for using that motto the last thirty years or so!

Absolutely fair comment Gedicus, but this cycle has extended to 40 years....it's a long cycle during which to maintain a level of patience and tolerance.
Personally, I think "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum' needs to be replaced as we never deliver on it. I'm not suggesting it long-term, but having American owners maybe we should take a lead from Trump and go with MEGA.....Make Everton Great Again.
"it's a long cycle"... correct, "Rome wasn't...." and on and on

No. I wouldnt be going mental over it no. Id say the refs missed that. Should have been a free kick.
I cant believe the drama over this. Or maybe i can as everything is a drama now with VAR
If a players at full pace running and hes pulled to the ground by his hair its a very different offence.

As I have said here before... it is baby steps, you can't run before you can walk, Rome was not built in a day, etc, etc.
I recall the traumatic ast few years... we are improving... will take time
We have improved mate. There's no doubt about that. But for those of us who remember Moyes the 1st time round, it's just rinse and repeat.

second half turd. better players we win
that easily

the end

The home games are like Groundhog day. It was like watching Everton v West Ham earlier in the season. Not great but on top 1st half, opposition make a couple of tweaks, we don't and we get completely over run where we're lucky to get a draw.

We're just nowhere near reactive to when we need to tweak how we're playing. It's less noticeable away from home as we just sit in a low block for the majority of the game and we have that little bit of quality to score from a couple of nice phases of play when we venture upfield.

At home, it's static, predictable, little thought, hopeful of a bit of magic but too few players available atm to produce it.

No surprise we've struggled even more at home than usual against Arsenal, Brentford, Wolves ( with Forest the only exception ) without Illy and KDH
