Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

My concerns about the SD card not sorting out my phone were justified. Still having problems with storage and the SD card doesn't seem to have made much difference as most of the existing apps cannot be transferred to it. So called in the neighbours son this morning, who is a computer wiz plus has a Galaxy phone himself. Even he couldn't get to the bottom of it so, with my blessing, he reset it to factory settings. I lost everything I had on there, including my favourite game, but it's sorted out the storage problem and I also now have an extra 32GB with the SD card. TBH I resigned myself to getting a new phone anyway so he's probably saved me few hundred pounds. It'll also give me something to do for the next few days downloading all the apps I've lost and updating my contacts. Fortunately I still have my old phone with the contacts.

Hope you all have a good Sunday guys.

Treat the phone as you would a PC and get cleaning software to keep on top of it and it shouldn't get rammed full of stuff that's idle

Good morning all. Good result yesterday means the negativity is only slightly les vitriolic from some lol I think some just really really enjoy being gloomy all the time.

I don't know what it is like where you live but round here, I started noticing last year the amount of different fungus growing all over the streets. All sorts of weird an wonderful colours and shapes. Has to be the climate that surely as never seen it until last year. I will start taking pics. Weirdly Daisy doesn't try and eat them.

I took these today, just from going around the block but there's bigger and better ones than these

Have a good Sunday, I'm trying to decide for tea do i have chicken satay or Korean BBQ chicken? I got some of those Blue Dragon packs ideal for just me rather than a big jar.
I wouldn’t eat the big round grey one it looks a bit tough

You're getting about a lot lately Bill. Have a great time. Is it just a weekend break?
Cheers Fred!

Yeah I’m already back in Germany. Was only two days unfortunately. Was sad to leave which is always a sign of a good trip. I hope to go back there again soon as 2 days is nowhere near enough. Did cram a lot in though. Amazing city.

Yeah true that was 3 countries in about a month lol

Maastricht and Rome were way too short though. Rest of the year just a couple of trips home to see the folks and that’s it unfortunately

It is a good chance to clear the clutter and don't install any apps until you need them as @Terrarian says get a cleaning app but watch you don't delete something you don't use too often ,in my case a QR code reader . Missed the Friday update on your gin intake Fred .

One of those days where it’s too warm for a winter coat but if I don’t wear one I will be drenched in a shower! Doesn’t feel like Autumn at all.

We all start the week with a spring in our step after 3 points gained. Two winnable games up next so onwards and upwards.
I know what you mean about the weather buddy … late October now abd even here in Spain it should be cooling but it was 28 yesterday and I was struggling to stay awake in the mid afternoon so took to my bedroom and cooled off with a fan … the biggest downside of late heat here is the bloody mosquitos !
Last night felt a bit cooler though it’s 17 now at our 8 am with a cloudy covered 25 so perhaps it’s turning

There is a lot of be said for a wintery night here with the rain beating off the windows as you lie in bed.

I'll keep an eye out for the QR code reader Blue. What does it look like.

Just the normal G&T Friday Blue. 2 large G&Ts. Although I did have one of my posh gins this week, the Rosemullion Summer Gin. A world gold medal winner that is distilled at a farm just outside our village.

Morning folks. Not much happening, it's raining but the temperature is still fairly mild, I've not felt the need to put the heating on for any length of time yet.
Have a good start to the week guys.
Still not put mine on at all T and still just in T shirts of an evening. Started putting a woolly on when it got dark earlier this month but its too hot.

Monthly leccy bill due today. Sent them a reading a couple of days ago and my daily usage has been pretty constant over the summer at around 18 units per day, so I'll see what the effects of the latest price increase are.
