The issue with us getting £30m to spend is wages.
if we go and get say 3x10m players thats 3x wages. For a player going for that type of fee an agent is going to be looking north of 50-60k P.w. That means your wage bill climbs by around 100k pw once you take away mo's wages. That's 5m a year give or take. or 25m over a five year deal. We can't sustain that type of expenditure and you end up with the firesale scenario we had last time.

£32m for Witsel, and Fellaini is better than Witsel, and on a four year contract.
So you're talking £35-40m minimum for a club like that. They set a rod for their own back with their other transfer dealings so if they want him, they pay properly for him.
