Your Time Is Gonna Come

I'm sorry mate, you've got it all wrong.
What will happen is the 5th May will make our dreams come true.
1-1 and in the 92nd minute we get a free kick, just to the right hand side of the box but only slightly and about 25 or so yards out, Anfield Road end.
That lad who was rumoured to be a Kopite but is a boyhood Evertonian who goes by the name of Leighton Baines will grab that ball and place it down carefully. Takes them couple of steps back and curls it home top right hand corner, to which the Anfield road end will absolutely shake severely and many limbs will fly amongst the 3,000 or so Evertonians who are in there as well as the many thousands watching at home and in pubs across the world.
This last gasp winner will not only give us a precious derby win, but will gauruntee us Champions League football for the 2013/14 season with still two games to go.

In all seriousness though, just imagine that. Really, just lie there in bed and imagine that. Jesus Christ.

Celebration Day if that happened.

Been a weird season really.

We're sitting in 5th over the half way point and right in the mix for 4th place, yet there's been so many frustrating games this season.

It all started off so well, 4 good wins out of the first 6, playing some nice football, scoring 2 or 3 a game.

Then we started drawing. Mostly being games that we should have won rather than games we rescued for a point making them feel more like a loss than a draw.

We thought we'd turned the corner, started the new season superbly which was completly un Everton like. But unfortunatly the Everton of old still reared its ugly head, losses to Leeds and winless Reading, giving away crap goals, not being able to finish teams off when on top, Phil Neville playing.

I guess its just in our nature to be more annoyed by the bad bits than we are happy about the good bits!

But despite we're still doing great, Spurs, West Ham and Wigan meaning we are keeping up with the challenge for 4th whilst missing some key players were brilliant results really considering we were behind in 2 of them but came back to win.

Good season thus far, could have been better and probably should have been but ref decisions going against us and our own troubles have cost us, but its our own qualities despite that which have shone through and got us where we are.

4th will be a great accomplishment and has the potential to give this club a huge boost in the right direction. Unfortunatly come summer we could be without our manager and best players bemonaing what could have been :(

We will need fellaini to finish 4th, to expect Moyes to sell him and buy two players and to get them fitted in right way would take some doing, its silly.

We have to keep the team, unless we can sell fringe players like erm but you get my drift, we have to add players, We have to get Donavan back on loan, we need someone on the right unless we throw Coleman back at the rm with neville behind him.

We'll need to hang in there until the end of January, if we can come out of the transfer window stronger than we went in, then I fancy our chances. I don't think Fellaini will leave in this window, Baines neither looking at the fee required and the possible suitors. I reckon the summer is more likely but I'd be more worried about a sneaky bid coming in for Jagielka, he'd be a major coup for a number of teams who are crying out for a player like him. It'd be hard for us and him to turn it down at this stage of his career, but it would be enough to derail out CL ambitions.

Yep, Good Times, Bad Times.

How Many More Times are we doing to concede a late goal ? Heartbreaker.

I think a lot depends on January. We need numbers. Having said that, I honestly think we are better than Spurs WBA and Arsenal. As chico says, how many times have we been outplayed this season? We are a very good side.

Spurs are a decent team and have a proper star on their hands in Bale and a proper striker in Defoe, we need jelavic to get back to his best for the second part of the season, they are in europe and also have a new manager who is still learning. Arsenal have lost their world class star in VP and could lose their cl place this season due to losing VP, and West brom have been playing really well, question is can they keep it up.

The big issue is to me is how much will our rivals spend in Jan?

The big issue to me is not how much they spend but how much quality they get in, the price of the player doesn't mean anything once the game starts.

If Arsenal and Spurs spend £30 million on players who are overhyped or take time to settle but we spend £500,000 on the next Darron Gibson who's had the better window?

For example Liverpool needs more goals, so they buy sturridge, your point is will sturridge be the right player? But will Moyes get any money at all? but we have to remember it all about spending money to to finish high.
