Fine, one last try to explain it then:

I thought that we had 3 games in a week (Weekend-Mid week-weekend, mixed them with uni deadlines). Moyes would probably not save any players in the league games. So I wanted to use Naismith/Hitz against a weaker team than us, rather than seeing them getting injured again. Because if Mirallas and Gibson get hamstring/thigh problems they probably won't come back for the semi-final. If Everton ended up with United, they would probably lose without Mirallas and Gibson in the team.

But I've already corrected that line-up on the second page, so I don't get why we're still discussing this.

Because even if we did have all those fixtures you've rested players for our biggest game of the season.

That's not the point.

What you're saying is you'd rather rest players against Wigan in the FA Cup Quarter final than Man City in the league which has no importance any more. I don't get that.

Yes, because I think that 3 games in a week would be too much for Gibson, and probably an issue for Mirallas as well.. And that we should be able to get past Wigan without our best team, and make sure that they're fit for a semi-final.

No, I'm saying that MOYES won't rest them against City.. This is a thread about the Wigan game, not the rest of the season.

Now, thats my last post here.. I don't see the point of this going any further.
