Your Lineup against Wigan

I reckon we should start Jelavic and use Vic as an impact sub if needed. Either way we have to give Jelavic as many opportunities as possible.
ye i agree with you but if it had been other way around and victor was getting as many games to find his form they would be war on here cos hes not popular while jela is so not much about it

I agree what your saying about Vic, this time last year everyone was on his back because of his work rate and his lack of interest. This season he's showed more contribution to games which has earned him well deserved starts. Everyone loves Nikica because of his sizzling form last season.

true just hope he finds that form soon again soon!!

I wouldn't mind resting osman, pienaar, and baines in favor of Barkley, hitz, and Distin at LB with Heitinga and Duffy starting at CB. Just a thought, we have a crucial fixture coming up after the wigan game and would like all our key players rested and fit. It sounds asinine to bench these guys but we got Man City @ Goodison next. No matter how ****ty they're playing, it's still Man City.

Don't you start mate.

You don't rest your best players for a cup quarter final.

WHAT?!?!??!?!

How can a league game when there's nothing to play for be more important than an FA Cup Quarter final? This is our biggest game of the season so far.

Some people seem to be thinking that the fact that our opponent is Wigan somehow makes the match less important---
As if getting Chelsea or United or City would have made this a vital game requiring our first 11, but against Wigan (or Blackburn, Millwall, etc) we suddenly should play reserves.
It doesn't matter the opponents or who we play next in the league- any FA cup game from here takes priority, and injuries and fitness aside, should be tackled with our best players available.

####HOWARD####
COLEMAN JOHNNY DISTAN BAINES
FELLI GIBSON
PIENAAR MIRRALAS
VIC
JELA

If Johnny starts playing silly buggers, **** him right off and stick Duffy in, Im only putting him in due to experience, as this is the biggest game of the season so far.

Swap Pienaar and Mirralas around, that worked lovely against Reading, but give them the option to swap back at any time, Big Vic playing a holding roll infront of Jela, giving Jelavic the simple balls to just knock in, If this doesnt work, take Jela off and bang Velios on, think the lad will do well with more than 7 min game time.

If we are looking in control, take Gibbo off about 60 min and let Ozzie run them ragged with fresh legs.

By which time it'll be too late.
He is crap at the moment and will be bossed by Kone. I would honestly start Duffy

I know what your saying, its a tough call, I would love to go with my heart and start Duffy, but think inexperience would be a problem, this all boil's down to Moyes being a tit, and not giving players chances and game time, and playing people out of position instead of using the squad.
We are now limited due to players first team experience, Whatever happens this is massive, if Johnny ****s this up he will never be forgiven, but if Duffy does he will be, this could be the perfect game for Johnny to redeem himself or for Duffy to really make a name. This game has so much potential we just have to pray Moyes doesn't **** everything up.

I wouldn't say there's nothing to play for, can still finish fifth and get into Europe, as well as finishing above Liverpool.
