Got a bit hectic irl but anyway, here's a weekend roundup:

Championship
Hull City - Josh Bowler started and was substituted in the 63rd minute of a 3-0 home win against Birmingham City

OS Match Report
"Positive early running from Leonardo Da Silva and Bowler brought the Tigers their first effort at goal inside two minutes, as Bowler took Da Silva’s pass and cut in from the right before seeing a shot deflect just wide."
"Eaves saw an effort from Irvine’s cross touched on its way wide, while Bowler sent a decent chance off target after being set up by Grosicki inside the box."

Twitter stuff
2' - Josh Bowler causing havoc from the get-go! The winger dribbles down the touchline before weaving his way into the box and getting a corner for the Tigers...
9' - The Tigers have just racked up their 5th corner in 9 minutes courtesy of Josh Bowler...It's swung in dangerously to the back post, but Irvine cannot apply the finishing touch.
25' - Big chance! It's nearly another comical goal for Eavesy. Bowler gets the ball in the middle from Grosicki's cross. Bowler drags his shot wide, but it nearly deflects off Tom Eaves into the net...
36' - Josh Bowler now wins a free-kick in a dangerous area. Bowen has a go at goal and sees his effort hit the wall.

German Bundesliga
Schalke 04 - Jonjoe Kenny played full match and was booked in a 2-2 home draw with SC Freiburg

Poor ratings from some fans, but with comments they feel he has been overplayed.

Matthew Pennington, Kieran Dowell and Callum Connolly were unused substitutes.
Fraser Hornby, Nathan Broadhead and Korede Adedoyin were not in matchday squads.

Yep Schumacher German goalkeeper took our a French player in 82 World Cup. His injuries were so bad he was taken off on a stretcher. The referee didn’t even award a foul.
Yep. The unsung hero of arguably the best midfield foursome ever on world football.

One point for the unsung hero who was literally almost murdered by Schumacher. And another point for the three other French midfield maestro's that made up the quartet.

Gutted about Dowell, looked a real talent with a wand of a left foot and this was his final chance to shine but looks like its league one for him.

No particular comments about his performance.

Nothing promising now for weeks.

Thanks as ever mate, I noticed yesterday that Pennington was an unused sub for Hull. A disappointing series of loans all round, and certainly the likes of Pennington, Connolly and Dowell have shown up well when playing in the Championship in previous seasons.

Championship
Hull City - Josh Bowler started and Matthew Pennington came on in the 37th minute of a 2-1 away win over Queens Park Rangers

OS Match Report
"However, from their first real attack of note, the Tigers drew level in the 32nd minute. Bowler’s run down the right ended with a cross that looked to be a simple one to take for goalkeeper Joe Lumley, but he spilled the ball at his near post and Honeyman reacted first to poke home from close range.
Bowler was then denied by Lumley before the visitors lost the services of Kingsley eight minutes before the break as he pulled up to be replaced by Matthew Pennington, meaning a switch to left back for Eric Lichaj with Pennington playing on the right."

Callum Connolly was an unused substitute for Lincoln City.
Joao Virginia, Nathan Broadhead and Korede Adedoyin were not in matchday squads.

....more promising, be interesting if Pennington can stake a claim for a starting place. Connolly has really slipped down the reckoning but loans can be a bit of a lottery.

Adeydoyin needs to come back in January, he was probably the oddest loan of all, always unlikely at 18 to break into Hamilton’s SPL squad. Get him back and training with the U23s, he’s still a youngster with promise but he can’t afford to waste time and a season at his age.

It's trending. I've seen this for a while now. Some commenting he's the worst they've ever seen etc.
I don’t think he’s that bad. They’ve got a manager struggling and he’s being compared to Harry Wilson and Mason Mount. He’s probably fed up of yet another loan too. He needs to leave permanently and probably should have a year or 2 ago
