Always a big Joey fan, always remember he was the first canny signing by Davey, for those of us who remember the likes of Mitch Ward it was like signing Beckenbaur at the time.

The end was painfull, but 8 years great service earns my thanks and respect. Best of luck Joey Lad.

Just hope this means we can make a signing tbh, It's like free money because he hasn't been part of the squad or missed for two seasons now.

exactly, I think it at least makes it more likely for us to be able to complete a loan signing.

As ive said before.

Cahill 1m
Yobo 2m

Pienaar 4.5m
Naismith

We technically dont have money to spend.

I personally doubt we will see ins before outs.

Cahill and Yobos wages will go to pay Naismith and Pienaar.

LCAB and THT have both told me the Pienaar money was there already, any sales will mean more money for signings on top of Pienaar, I do trust that they're not talking ballsack like, well i'm hoping they're right anyway.

I don't buy that. If the money was there already why on earth did it take us so long to splash the cash ?

While I wish you were right mate. I can't help but think that if Everton ever had any 'free money' about it would go straight into the bank to clear some debt.

Sad, but I feel it's true.

I totally respect the obvious sources those two have but I do know those involved in the Yobo deal were 'convinced ' the money was needed for the Pienaar payment. The rumour were Pienaar was done as Yobo said his goodbyes , Yobo fell through and Penaar went quiet until just after Cahill was sold. It looks clear to me but obviously I'm not certain
