I don't buy that. If the money was there already why on earth did it take us so long to splash the cash ?

It was about Spurs wanting the money in one go, despite the fact we had a relative agreement in January that was about installments over 12 months based on appearances and league position. LCAB and THT have maintained, sales means signings and even as of today that there will probably be 'ins' or one 'in' at the very least.

I really don't buy that one payment personally mate but I will bow to those who have the info

It was just info I've been told by those good sources as well as others mate, you may be right instead, it's just what i've personally been told, he is definitely actively looking for a striker and another midfielder, this is without further sales, so there must be something in the pot if even to pay loan fee's and further wages.

I'd never call anyone unless I certain mate and I'm not frankly , I think we are looking for a striker but who or what price range I just don't know . I know though as I've said those involved with Yobo worked under the impression that money was the first Pienaar payment but whether there was any more to it than that I just can't say.we certainly need players that for certain but for me loans or frees but I'd love to be wrong

Free or loans is the only possible situation I can see like sheedy says unless we sell.

I still think there is still a lot of fat to be trimmed but I guess you have to have the right offers in the first place to move them on.

As I said, you could well be right with that mate, but They do want a deal for Donovan permanently as well, maybe that would only happen if big Vic is sold.

I know a bit about chelsea's interest in Moses and the rumours seem to be they need him gone first however how much they'll spend is a good question.

A lot? Anichebe is the only one really. Unless we get offered silly money for Rodwell.

Never mind united there was strong interest from Chelsea last year but that ship looks to have sailed some time ago, as far as I can see the only offers we'd get for him probably wouldn't make economic sense to sell him. Like you I struggle to see beyond Anichebe really , I do have this sneaking thought we'll lose Heitinga but again I hope I'm wrong .

we'd get £4m tops for me.

Yeah tops for me to , I could see around £3m with add ons for a deal both clubs say is over £4m

Not to be sniffed at though. That's £3m more then most of us would say he's worth.

May just be enough to get Landon, I just hope Wigan are actually interested and Moses is gone soon as, to give us a little more time to sort a deal out as I think there will need to be a bit of negotiating on our part to realistically get Donovan in full-time.
