Joseph Yobo,Everton Legend?

Served the club deligently for close to a decade, won Everton a fair number of supporters here at home (myself included),honest guy who always gave 100% for the club and of course,David Moyes' first signing for Everton. Is Yobo, in your eyes, an Everton legend?

Will that makes us rich?

A transfer loss doesn't worry me, what worries me is a repeat of the transfer "profit" made last season.

Why is that so important, surely the only real concerns is that we improve as a team and that the club is not in trouble? What is wrong with making a profit if we still improve?

We made a profit by selling arteta to appease the banks. That's what he's worried about. That the fact we've spent money on Pienaar is leading up to us having to sell a first teamer in the last day of the window.

Id rather keep vic than bring donovan in. Younger + stronger

Nah, I have to disagree with you there. As supportive as I am of fellow Nigerians, Vic should consider himself lucky to be playing in the top tier of English football. I know many locally based players who are more technically sound than him. Great guy, average footballer.

Legend? No.. but I always liked him, thought he was a decent CB, had strength and pace but was unfortunate to have Moyes as a manager as DM knows CB's and quickly found Lescott and Jags who were better than him. Unfortunate for him that he didn't leave earlier in his career really.

Fair point my broda, but do you reckon he atleast deserved a testimonial considering he was with us for close to a decade?

We also let Drenthe, McFadden, that 3rd choice goalie and a few kids go.

Does the Aber in your name relate to Aberystwyth by any chance?

I don't think Yobo should be a considered a legend. Considering there's a split in people's opinion on Cahill's legend status, I don't Yobo comes close to that tbh. That being said he was still a good servant to the club.
