So 2 players in and 2 players out for a loss of £1.5m. Hey, at least Naismith is only 25.

It says a lot about the state of the club that we're focusing on the loss of money, rather than the improvement to the squad. Bringing in two first teamers isn't to be sniffed at. Most clubs spend 10 million on transfers every year, ffs.

If we can get £3million plus for Vic, too, we'd be laughing.

Will that makes us rich?

A transfer loss doesn't worry me, what worries me is a repeat of the transfer "profit" made last season.

£2 million, I think.

I'm told that's the figure mate , €2.5m with the .5m appearance based. In fairness we also got two loan payments which were about £1.75m in total so for a 32 year old Nigerian on £55k per week that's not the worse deal in the world.

I'm pretty critical of the board and especially in relation to transfers but given the age of the players and Their respective salaries I don't think we've done 'too badly' . The way it was explained to me was that unless your talking about a real talent and especially when you are talking about older players the higher the wage >lower the fee and vice versa.

Some of us aren't, Sheedy has already answered this but with Yobo's transfer added with Vic's £3 million and whatever astronomical Wage he earns (Just think what Dixie would earn in today's game, sigh) that money could go to that American fella who wants to come back.
