The defeats at home only tell part of the story.
He said teams came here with devastating effect
Over reaction much

Only beaten at Home by Stoke/Chelsea and Palace
Devastating effect my arse
im not confident either will happen.
Two Games?
What on earth gives you that faith though?
Even then we will still be 12th!!
The vote figures started very tight but then the keeping Martinez option has took over.
I think post match fume gets the better of some lids.
For the next B.A.W.K. poll can we have a Undecided option too please?
A win against Palace and something against Liverpool and the crisis will be over.
I am now choosing to retain my faith for that little bit longer.
Its not a time for fence sitting, this is a time to stand up and be counted.
I don't think 4 points will fend off the wolves for long, that wouldn't signal the end of this crisis, we need to be getting decent results until the end of the season not just for the next two games.
The crisis is everyone fretting over relegation. 4 points in the next 2 matches will lift the spirits of everyone at the club and have us thinking more positively.
The derby will be a scrap and everyone will be up for it.
You've never watched a derby before, have you?
If only Wigan would have sacked Martinez 12 months prior to there relegation, They could be up there fighting for a top 6 finish now and not fighting to stay in the Championship, They quality of the team he had at his disposal and he couldn't keep them in the league speaks volumes
ok lets just get relegated then with martinez, see how happy you will be then.Mourinho was manager of barca B team, a first team coach in winning sides for many years with Bobby Robson and assistant manager before getting the big job of benefica manager... Ferguson is a legend but he isn't even assistant manager, he's been a first team coach for under a year. It would be ludicrous to fast track him to first team manager.
The dressing room cleaner?Martinez isn't getting sacked even if we lose the next three.

I think clubs such as Wigan, Burnley, Leicester see premier league survival as a successful season, and not necessarily a top 6th finish, as due to their finances a top half finish would be totally unrealistic. They would probably be happy to hit the magical 40 points asap. Martinez took Wigan down with players such as Kone, Robles, Alcaraz, McCarthy, and a couple of other half decent players. He had a massively supportive chairman and a pretty good modern ground. Wigan are struggling in the Championship due to a reduction in income, due to relegation, and the quality of players available to them.
We have had a really bad season, remarkably similar to Wigan`s last premiership season, with much better quality players, and more money than Wigan. I only hope we are not going to be saying "if only we had canned Martinez earlier" at the end of this season.
